- It is not the root of all evil. Many say it is, but actually the Bible says, "The love of money is the root of all evil" (1 Tim. 6:10). That is a big difference.
- No, it can't buy you love. It cannot purchase the love every human soul yearns for—the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
- You can have money and still be spiritual. The Bible commands Christians who are rich to be generous—not to take a vow of poverty (1 Tim. 6:17-19).
- Money will come to those who work hard and plan carefully (Prov. 21:5).
- Your good name and reputation for integrity are more important than a quick dollar (Prov. 22:1).
- Don't seek money. Seek God and His wisdom (Matt. 6:33). Solomon asked God for His wisdom, and everything else came to him!
