Jesus, Himself, delegated to His disciples the authority to pronounce peace in the homes they visited. A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. Are you a disciple?
"For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him" (Heb. 7:1).

Let's look at the spiritual blessing of Abraham. Since the Word of God says that we receive the blessings of Abraham, then we had better find out what those blessings are.

Melchisedek is an Old Testament type of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is called "king of Salem," which is, "king of peace." Abraham gave 10 percent of all his possessions to Melchisedek. Then, Melchisedek blessed Abraham.

Now when Melchisedek blessed Abraham, he said something: "…Blessed be Abram of the most high God…." The word "blessed" means to speak well of, or to pronounce. Melchizedek pronounced blessings over Abraham.

Peace is a Great Blessing of God
We see that Jesus, Himself, delegated to His disciples the authority to pronounce peace in the homes they visited. A disciple is a follower of Jesus Christ. Are you a disciple?

If you answered yes, then this is for you too.

Jesus told his disciples whatever house they go into that would receive them, to pronounce peace over that house. If there is turmoil there and peace comes in, it is a great blessing. If there is fear there and peace comes in so that you can sleep, that is a great blessing. If there is strife there where everyone is fighting each other, and peace enters in and irons it all out, that is a great blessing.

If He said it to them—and if you are His disciple—He is saying it to you.

When you minister to your relatives, neighbors, or co-workers, you can pronounce peace in their home, and there will be peace there, if they will receive you.

That ought to tell you that there is power in words. And there is power when a person is willing to believe the proclamation that is made over their house.

I want to take this time now to pronounce peace in your home—especially during these times in which we live.
In Jesus' name, I am telling you now that the blessings of the Lord are upon your house. Peace be to your house, in the name of Jesus. Prosperity be to your house. In Jesus' name, the joy of the Lord be in your house today.

In Jesus' name the Holy Ghost lives big in your house, causing everyone in it to get saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus, receive the blessing and shout unto God! The blessing is yours.
