If a Christian doesn't agree with war, is it right to avoid the draft?

I'm convinced that God wants Christians to obey the laws of the land in which they live. The only time we're told not to obey the laws of the land is when our government wants us to do something that is contrary to Scriptures.

The question that we must ask ourselves is: "Is it wrong for Christians to be a part of the military and to go to war?" I'm convinced that the Bible teaches that it's not wrong for Christians to be in the military, nor is it wrong for them to fight in a war.

Let's look at a Scripture that demonstrates God's attitude towards our government and it's rules and regulations.
Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you.

For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.
(Rom. 13:1-4 NIV)
God established the principle of government, along with police and military. When we rebel against governmental policy, we're rebelling against God.

God wants Christians to obey the laws set up by their government. This would include a draft law.
