When you study the Bible, and you see a promise of God, then that promise is designed by the Holy Spirit to paint a picture on the inside of you. Words create images. The Word of God says, "I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health." The Holy Spirit will take that scripture, those God inspired words, and create an image on the inside of you.
You will begin to have an image of health and prosperity and then you must perfect that image through constant fellowship and communion with the Holy Spirit. Your image is going to become more real on the inside of you, than what's happening on the outside.
The Bible says that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. God's Word is designed to paint images. I like to say it this way: Your heart is the canvas, the Holy Ghost is the Artist, and the Word of God is the oil.
As you fellowship with God, the Holy Ghost will paint an image on the canvas of your heart of the way God sees you... not the way the world sees you.
From just a natural standpoint, we really don't think in words, we think in images. When someone says dog, you don't automatically think d-o-g. You see in your mind a dog. And if you have a dog, you probably see the image of your dog. But if I say black dog, and your dog is not black, then you won't see your dog any longer, you will see an image of a black dog.
If I say big, black dog, then your image changes and becomes more perfected with every word that is added. Big, black dog with curly hair. Notice every word I add is painting a picture. Big, black dog with curly hair and white paws. Once again, every word perfects the image.
That's the reason God put His Word in print, so you and I would get an image of what God promises us - our covenant rights. Every person reading this article has a right to know God's plan for their life.
I don't care who you are. I don't care what your background is. I don't care what your race is. I don't care what your education is - an abundance of it or a lack of it. God has a plan for your life.
He's not just going around picking out a few people and dropping a dream in their heart because He loves them more than He loves someone else. God is wanting to plant a dream in the heart of every child He has.
In order for that dream to drop into your heart, you must be in communion with Him. You must have time and fellowship with Him. The more time you spend with Him, then the more real your dream will become.
As a result, you'll begin to look for it... you'll begin to anticipate it happening. You'll begin to expect it to come to pass. If it doesn't come to pass tomorrow, you'll look for it the next day. If it does not come to pass this week, you'll keep anticipating it next week.
Never give up. Keep looking for it. Get the image of what God has planned for you deep down on the inside and constantly see yourself walking in your dream.
