"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil" (Gen. 3:5).

Did you know that it's not your role to make your own decisions? According to the Bible you are to acknowledge God in all your ways and He shall direct your paths. It's God's will to increase you in every possible way, but you have to determine in your mind—it's God's way or no way.

In Genesis, Satan appealed to Eve's lust of being her own God. He said, "See, God knows you're going to know what He knows and then you can make your own decisions, that's why He told you that."

Always be on your guard against the devil's tactics. He will always try to appeal to your lust of doing things your way. This can be in every area of your life. So saturate yourself with the Word of God and allow it to renew your mind.

You see, God's ways are not our ways.
  • God's way for you to prosper financially is to give—not hoard.
  • God's way for you to get a spouse is for you to serve the Lord—not be consumed with looking.
  • God's way says a soft answer turns away wrath—not putting up your fists to fight.
  • God's way says pray for those that despitefully use you—not talk about them.
  • God's word says get your counsel from the godly—not the ungodly.
That's God's way.

The devil wants you to do things your way; he knows when you do you're over in the flesh realm where he can dominate your circumstances. But if you practice doing it God's way, then you're over in the spiritual realm where God dominates, and the things of the Spirit are much more powerful than the things of the flesh.

When you do it God's way, He will cause the anointing of God to increase in your life. The love of God will increase in your home. Health will flow more freely through your body. He will make you free of all the care, lack, and worry the world goes through. He will increase you with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness; against such there is no law, for the law of sin and death has no power over you.

Take a moment and think about that. Now determine today that you're going to do it God's way or no way.
