How can I, as a man of God, remain silent while evil takes place? I'm called to change the world and make a global difference in the lives of people. My heart goes out to those who are being persecuted and terrorized daily by their governments and radical groups.

Although I personally may not be able to visit one-on-one with every Christian and non-Christian around the world who is being persecuted, I believe that God's Word is the ultimate universal emancipator. Jesus clearly said:
...If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
(John 8:31-32 AMP)
Allow me to talk to my Christian brothers and sisters around the world who are being oppressed in their countries. It may seem like freedom is nowhere in sight, especially if you have been subjected to cruelty all of your life.

However, based on what Jesus said, live by and rely on the truth of God's Word so that freedom can come. Regardless of your present situation, keep in mind that the Lord promised you freedom (Joel 2:32; Luke 4:18).

Some people may think that it's easy for me to say, "Believe God's promise of freedom," while I enjoy the comforts of freedom in America. Hear my heart. I thank God for being born an American.

I also thank Him for empowering me with the wisdom and resources to impact your life with the Gospel. I'm privileged to share with you life-changing truths from His Word that are guaranteed to lead you to freedom once you apply them to your life.

The Bible says, "Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye" (Prov. 7:2).

Psalm 91:15-16 says, "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation." God didn't say, "I'll protect you just as long as the tyrants aren't in power."

He couldn't care less who is in power, because His Word is your weapon of choice to combat evil.

Through your life of holiness, prayers of faith, and your immovable trust and stance on the Word, God can deliver you from the tyranny of wicked men (2 Chron. 7:14; 2 Thess. 3:1-3).

He did it with the destruction of the Berlin Wall and the fall of Communism in Germany in 1989. Satan, the father of evil, lost the war when God's people in Germany and around the world prayed earnestly and trusted in His Word for deliverance.

The bottom line is that the Word of God can change what may currently seem like a hopeless situation. It will work when you work it by applying what you learn concerning your country and your God-given right to freedom from oppression.

Don't ever think that God has abandoned you or that He favors others more than you. He is willing and able to break the bonds of evil in your life and nation. Give Him an opportunity to do just that. The battle isn't yours anyway; it's His. Therefore, trust that He will confront evil on your behalf.

Don't worry; He's never lost a fight!
