"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ" (1 Pet. 1:6-7).
Face it teenagers, adversity is common in your lifestyles because you are the achiever generation. The definition of an achiever is: one who accomplishes a purpose, or obtains an object by his exertions.
You need to know that conflict is not an obstacle, but a birthplace. Greatness has always been the child of crisis. History records it. The Bible is a biography of champions that ran up against "Goliath" situations.
Don't give up. As my pastor, Mac Hammond, always says, "If you don't quit, you win!"
So make up your mind, right now that you are going to press in, speak to that mountain in front of you, COMMAND it to be removed, and don't quit until it's gone.
