"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God" (Heb. 4:9 KJV).

God will sometimes speak to you to give you peace in the midst of your test. But you don't have to hear a voice, because the Bible is God speaking to you. Find where it is written in the Bible and enter into the rest of God.

As I said before, we had to enter into the rest of God while ministering in Pakistan. If we got into fear we would have opened the door for the devil. The last night of that trip there was an earthquake. We were in our hotel room, and the whole foundation of the hotel shook like it was going to collapse.

I recognized the roaring, because I had heard it once before. It was like a train that was really close. The roar comes, and then the things in the room start moving....

Now, here we are in a country where they don't have American building standards—and we're up on the top floor! That thing lasted about five or six seconds. And I'll tell you something about Jesus being asleep in the boat. I picked up the phone to call Pastor Gill, and woke him up. He was in the rest of God.

Well, what comes to mind in the midst of this earthquake? Get out the room! Get out the hotel! Get out in the street in a hurry. That's just what comes to you in the middle of that situation. But God told me to go to Pakistan. That's why I went.

I knew two weeks before I got the call to go, that it was the will of God for me to go. Then, I'm not going to die in an earthquake in Islamabad. So I sat there, and said, thank you Lord, glory to God. I had rest right in the midst of my test.

You need to have rest in the middle of your tests. I mean, when the bill collector is calling and saying, "Pay up!", you can have rest knowing that somehow the Lord will make a way.

I mean, when you get the word that you are going to die in two months, you can have rest in knowing that Jesus, Himself, took your infirmities and bore your sickness. You don't have to know how. All you need to know is the Great Physician. He is Jehovah Rapha.
