What happened in the Book of Acts when Peter and John joined their own company - the place where everyone in the company could bring their unique supply of the Spirit?

Looking at Acts 4:24 and 31, we see that the power of God manifested itself: "And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, 'Lord, thou art God....' And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."

First of all, I want you to notice that they were in one accord. Every time that you see a significant move of God, you will find a company of people who have come together in one accord.

We can't allow schism, division, and competitive jealousy to divide us from one another because we do so at the expense of experiencing the power of God - the power to bring increase.

The second thing I want you to notice is that they prayed. In Philippians, chapter 1, we see that Paul's confidence in his deliverance was because of his ministry partners' prayers and supply of the Spirit. Likewise, in Acts we see prayer playing a vital role in bringing down the power of God in a remarkable way.

As a matter of fact, it seems that when a like-hearted company of people come together, staying in one accord and participating in anointed corporate prayer, then God moves in a great way in their behalf to see that His purposes are accomplished.
