Begin to develop an inner image of what you want. This is one of the most important steps to successful prayer. It's like seeing the blueprint of a building before it's constructed.

This process increases your faith because it involves mentally visualizing the results of your prayers before you actually see them manifest.

How? By visualizing the results of your prayers as you spend time reading the Bible and speaking the promises of God.

What you speak and visualize determines your success or failure in prayer. If you visualize defeat, then defeat is inevitable. On the other hand, if you see yourself possessing the results of your prayers, you will have success.

As a child of God, you have a covenant right to receive His blessings. See yourself possessing the things for which you've been praying. For example, if you're believing God for a new house, then speak His Word and visualize yourself living in that house.

Possessing what you want begins with your confession. Psalm 107 says,

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
(Ps. 107:2)

You are the redeemed of the Lord, and whatever you say is so!
