I'm confused concerning to whom I should pray. What does the Bible teach in regards to whom we should pray?

The Bible addresses this very specifically. Let me share what Jesus had to say concerning prayer and then let's take a look at an example when Paul, the apostle, prayed:
And in that day (after the resurrection) you will ask Me (Jesus) nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.

In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.
(John 16:23-27 NKJ)
Jesus taught us to pray to God, the Father, using the name of Jesus. He said that God loves us so much that Jesus didn't even have to pray to the Father for us as the Father actually hears us. Notice how Paul prayed:

"(I) do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him" (Eph. 1:16-17 NKJ).

Even the great Apostle Paul prayed to God, the Father, and if you study the Scriptures you will discover that he prayed to no one else.
