"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest" (Matt. 9:37-38).

God does nothing in the earth unless His people ask Him. God is good. He wants you to have an abundant of life, but there is a thief that is out there that will do whatever he can to steal from you, kill you, or destroy you. Yet when you exercise your dominion and authority in the word of God, there is nothing a thief can do. You must use your authority.

Dominion and authority not acted upon leaves the door open for catastrophe. God's will is only done in the earth when we pray and invite Him in.

Well, doesn't God want to have many laborers? Doesn't God want people to be saved? Sure He does. Then why in the world does He need us to pray for them? He said to pray that He get what He wants.

It begs the question, since it is His will why does He need us to ask him to do it? Why doesn't He just come on in and do it? Before we answer that, let's look further in the word, which says, "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting" (1 Tim. 2:8).

Why does he want them to pray? In 1 Timothy 2:3 it says, "This is good in the sight of God our savior who will have all men to be saved and for all men to come into the knowledge of the truth."

We see that is is God's will that men pray everywhere, lifting up their hands when they pray, without wrath or doubting. In other words, let them pray in love and in faith. But notice God's will is that everyone be saved. If He wants everybody saved, why doesn't He just save them?

It sure isn't because He has a lack of power. Do you think God couldn't walk into your house and force you to bow down and worship Him? Do you think He has a shortage of power to do that?

God has the power to do it, but God is extremely legal. He gave the choice to man. He wants you saved. And then He will find people in the earth that belong to Him and He will ask you to pray and invite Him to come in and let Him work on the lost.

It is also inferred that He hears every word that you say and He answers your prayers. You should then pray because you love them, and pray in faith that He will move. He is waiting on us. Why? Because He gave man the dominion and He gave man the authority. So, to the extent that we pray is the extent that God moves in the lives of people in the earth.
