Determine not to be like those people. Romans 16 says:
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.First Peter provides a key that will keep you from becoming like those people who make a practice of offending others:
(Rom. 16:17)
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.Do you want to see good days and live a long life free from offense? Then keep your tongue from evil, and speak good things about others!
(1 Peter 3:10)
