It is always good to confront people with biblical truth. God's Word does give us a sexual standard to follow (1 Cor. 6:16-20; Gal. 5:19-21). When Christians refuse to follow this Biblical standard, the most productive thing that we can do is to pray for them. Notice this Scripture:
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. The forces which enable us to live a life worthy of the Lord and pleasing to Him are spiritual wisdom and understanding. We can pray for people and ask God to give them spiritual insight. They will be able to walk a holy life when God gives them spiritual insight.
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.
(Col. 1:9-10)
Your friend needs you to consistently pray for him. Your prayers give God the opportunity to move in his life. Second Timothy 2:24-26 presents this powerful truth to us.
And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
