The Five A's of Evangelism (Transfered to Joomla)
By Nick Kinn   Author Bio

God has given His body the Great Commission to go into the highways, and byways and compel people to come in. We as the Body of Christ need to be doers of the Word of God and not hearers only. The Bible tells us in the book of James, if we do the Word of God we will be blessed in our deed!
  1. ASSIGNMENT
God has given us an assignment. In Mark 16:15-20, the Lord commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. I call it the eleventh commandment!
  2. ABILITY
He has also given us the ability. It's God's ability and not ours. In 2 Corinthians 3:5-6 the Bible says, " Not that we are sufficient to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life."

Religion doesn't do anything for anybody! We need to show people that we don't just have another religion, but we have a relationship with Jesus.
  3. AUTHORITY
God has given us His authority. In Luke 10:19 is says: "Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

It says in 1 John that we have the greater one living inside of us! Isaiah 54:17 says, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn." This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord!"
  4. ANOINTING
God has given us the anointing. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you and me to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord!

The Bible says in 1 John, "As He is, so are we." You and are anointed to fulfill the Great Commission!
  5. AVAILABILITY
We must give the Lord our availability. The hardest thing about sharing Jesus with others is just making ourselves available to be used by the Spirit of God to touch the lost and dying world!

Jesus told us to deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him. He said in Matthew 4:19: "And he saith unto them, follow me and I will make you fishers of men."
The harvest is truly plenteous. The Lord is looking for his people to reach out beyond the four walls of the church and win the world for Christ!
