God needs us to reach to the ends of the earth with the gospel. We are the carriers of God's Word. We are the Word made flesh, just as Jesus was. If this world does not hear the good news about Jesus from the Church, it will never hear the good news at all.

We have the same opportunity to do the will of the Father that Jesus had. He laid down His life in glory to come to the earth and condemn sin in the flesh and make a way for us to be born again.

Now, as spirit beings with the life of God, we are capable of manifesting God's Spirit in this earth. We are to lay down our lives in the flesh, yield to the Spirit of God and obey Him. If that we not the plan, He would have raptured the Church a long time ago!

He came to set up His kingdom and He did. But we come into that kingdom by grace through faith. We are messengers of God's grace, telling the world they can be born again by faith in Jesus Christ.

We have learned to walk by faith; now we must be faithful with what we know and do whatever is necessary to harvest the souls of this earth. As we become more faithful to God than we are to ourselves, we will experience the power of God that we have sought.

The Scripture says that if we sow to the spirit, we will reap life and peace, but if we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption and death (Rom. 8:4-14; Gal. 6:7-8). Ours is a generation that will sow to the spirit.

God is calling us to be faithful and alert to spiritual things. Jesus frequently spoke about faithfulness. He said,
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
(Matt. 24:44-45)
I put my name by this verse in my Bible. "Gloria is a faithful and wise servant." I have made the decision to be faithful. You do the same. No one can do it for you.

Commit yourself to be a wise and faithful servant. Say from your heart, "God, You can count on me."

According to the parable, "Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing." Doing what? Doing what he is told. Being faithful to his Lord. Jesus did not say that any servant would be blessed.

The slothful servant was not blessed. He was not enjoying the benefits of the faithful one. The faithful and wise servant was blessed of his lord.
