I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
When we ask God to put in our hearts what He wants us to desire, He will not only give us those desires but the steps or “marks” along the way to achieve them. Our lives must be a daily press in every area and toward every mark God reveals to us. He will give us one mark at a time, so we must press toward that one mark until it is done. Then He will reveal the next mark so we can move on to that next one and so on. We must continue the press until we achieve the high calling of God in our lives. Every time we achieve or complete a mark, God has a reward for us. He helps us along the way and enjoys rewarding us. Don’t be complacent. Continue the press until you see God’s
high calling in your life realized.
