O.J Toks is happily married to the love of his life, Dana. He is the founder of O.J. Toks Ministries, which presents and hosts While You Are Single. Rejected for a Purpose: How God Uses Rejection to Help You Find and Fulfill Your Destiny, an unprecedented life-changing book that has received rave reviews.

Toks was born in Inglewood, California. 6 weeks after his birth, his Nigerian parents went back to Nigeria with him, and he was raised there for 19 years. He came back to the States in 1994, and resided in Richmond, VA where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2003 he was ordained as a minister at Faith Alive International Ministries also in Richmond, VA.

In 2006 he relocated to Houson, TX. He and his wife attend and serve in Lakewood Church. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Oral Roberts University. Toks has written for Essence Magazine and has been a guest on 89.3 KSBJ and Daystar. His mission is to inform and inspire people to find and fulfill God's purpose in every aspect of their lives.
