Be Stable

by Ron Luce | Uncategorized

“…I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I never change” (Mal. 3:6).

Have you ever stopped to notice how things change daily in this world? In fact the world can seem to be in a very unsure state. The nightly news constantly confirms this, doesn’t it? Everything around us looks SO unstable.

But did you know there is one thing that will never ever change? There is one thing that we will always be able to depend on no matter what it looks like. It’s the Word of God.

God does not have a double standard. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you choose to make the Word of God the final authority in your life it will give you stability.

You will have stability when others around you give way. If you let the Word of God settle issues in your life – you will be confident when others are confused. If you let the Word of God be what guides your decisions you will not make wrong choices by giving into peer pressure. You can overcome that peer pressure when others are being overcome.

The Word of God should be your final authority. That means you believe what He says instead of believing what others say. Determine to live by faith and not by sight. Commit yourself to the authority of God’s Word.
