“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”

(Gal. 3:26)

Do you ever have times when you don’t feel like you are a child of God, or maybe not even a distant relative? We all can experience days like that. Successful Christians overcome those days by affirming the foundation that makes them a child of God.

We are all God’s children by believing in Christ Jesus. We all need to constantly affirm with our mouth that we are saved and that we know it by faith. And we must not wait to make such affirmations only when we feel like it.

The Message Bible says: “By faith in Christ you are in direct relationship with God.”

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, felt, or confirmed by natural circumstances. Believing statements from the Bible above any other source creates a confident, faith filled heart. Circumstances and situations constantly change. Both the good and the bad are part of our daily routine. Yet, our Christian confidence is in the Word, not in our feelings or circumstances.

Today’s Thought to Take With You:

I am a child of God and I walk confidently by faith and not by sight. I affirm what I believe with my words and my actions.
