Do you have folks in your workplace who are character assassins?
Paul wrote that we are to “shun foolish controversies” (Titus 3:9, NASB).
Most workplaces have folks who go around firing arrows at everyone.
When others tell you about the attack made on you, simply say, “Of course, with Mr. or Ms. X, no one is spared the arrows.” Others will immediately relate their own experience, and the attack will die.
When the attack is stated directly to you, ask the attacker, “Why would you say that?” and wait for an answer.
You will stay out of the fray and keep your reputation.
