Dry Seasons Come

by Ron Luce | Uncategorized

“Come near to God He will come near to you…” (James 4:8).

Do you sometimes feel far away from God? It’s not uncommon to hear people talking about “going through life’s valleys” or “being in a dry season.” But the reality is that you DO NOT HAVE TO SETTLE for the dry season!

There are only two people involved in your relationship with God – you and Him. The Bible clearly tells us that God has not changed. So, if you feel far from God, is it something God is doing? Is it His fault? Is He turning His back on you?

No! His desire for you to know Him more deeply and intimately has not changed. Satan would love for you to think that you have to settle for dry times and stay far from God. But refuse to settle!

In what ways have you been settling for a dry season? How are your quiet times? How’s your prayer life? How often do you get alone and praise God? How do you show God you are determined to meet with Him each day?

Determine to get into His presence today: by reading the word, praying, singing praise and worship unto to God, whatever you need to do to spend time with Him. Remember, come close to God and he will come close to you. You have been given access to God’s heart.
