Earnest Prayer is Dynamic!

by Keith Butler | The Anointed Word

The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working) (James 5:16 AMP).

Christians can pray and get dynamic results. Our prayers can be specific, because the Word of God gives us at least seven things about which to pray. We can pray about those things with power, because the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman makes tremendous power available.

We can and must pray accurately so that we can have results. Jesus said in John 15:7-8, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

Upon reading these Scriptures, we see that “fruit” comes from prayer. In other words, our Father receives glory because of the Scriptural asking of the saints based upon the Word abiding in them. God does things in the earth because the saints of God pray according to the Word, and they get results.

I believe one reason why things have happened or do not happened for Christians is directly related to their prayer life. So, we will specifically look at seven things from the Scriptures for which believers are to pray:

1) Pray for those who persecute you.

2) Pray for your own needs to be met.

3) Pray that God will send laborers for the Harvest.

4) Pray for God’s servants.

5) Pray for all the Saints.

6) Pray for those in authority.

7) Finally you should pray for the sick.

Spend time looking at the supporting scriptures and begin to pray for these seven things. Praying for these things will change your life and the lives of others. You will be causing tremendous power to be available in the lives of others to turn their situation around.

And when you pray for someone else, then someone else will be praying for you, and tremendous power will be working in your life turning your situation around! Why? Your earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer makes tremendous power available. It is dynamic in its working!
