“To another the working of miracles…” (1 Cor. 12:10 NKJ).
There are four types of miracles described in the New Testament. This list could be the manual or guideline for your place of worship:
Notable Miracles (Acts 4:16).
A notable miracle is one that comes to the attention of those outside the local congregation. It makes the newspaper and the television evening news. The healing of the lame man in Acts 3:6-10 attracted such a community interest that it became a media event and a conversation piece. Two chapters in Acts (3 and 4) detailed this happening.
Great Miracles (Acts 6:8).
In Acts 8:13 Luke uses the Greek words mega dumamis or “great miracles.” This is not a reference to a “one-incident-only” event. It refers to a steady stream of signs, wonders, and miracles. God moves in a lavish way so that the list of miracles is great in quantity as well as quality.
Special Miracles (Acts 19:11).
The thing stressed here is the geographical location involved. The disciples were in Ephesus, center of the worship of the Greek goddess Diana, a practice which led to depravity, degeneracy, and immorality. It took something special to free people from such a sensual trap.
Diverse Miracles (Heb. 2:4).
This verse points to miracles of a manifold nature. There are special spiritual miracles for any church, special physical miracles for people with all kinds of ailments, special financial miracles for everyone in need.
Claim all four types of miracles for yourself and your groups: notable, great, special, and diverse.
