“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Rom. 8:1).
One time during a service, the Spirit of God suddenly spoke to my spirit: There’s someone here who fell several years ago and injured the bottom part of her spine. Call her up here; I want to heal her.
I spoke out what I’d heard, and immediately a lady came forward and said, “That’s me.”
I told the woman, “God just wants you to know He loves you.” Then I laid hands on her and prayed.
The next day this woman related her testimony: “Some bad things happened to me as a young child that didn’t happen to my friends. Because I had no teaching, I assumed that God caused everything that happened to people.
“So I formulated the opinion that there was something ‘evil’ about me, although I didn’t know what it was. I always thought, God loves my friends, and good things happen to them. But He doesn’t love me, because there’s something evil about me. That must be why bad things happen to me.”
I asked her, “You’ve always been sickly, haven’t you?”
“Yes, I have,” she replied. “But today while I was at work, I thought, Oh, it feels so good to feel good. The pain is gone! Then suddenly it just registered on me: God called me out. I was the only one in a whole crowd who had those symptoms. Not only did He call me out, He healed me from the top of my head to the soles of my feet!
“Now I know that I was wrong all my life. God does love me. From now on, my life will be different. I know God loves me, and that has changed me forever.”
God is in the “signs and wonders” business. When He moved on this woman’s behalf, He instantly healed her from pain and sickness and freed her from a lifetime of condemnation. And, as she testified, that new freedom changed her life forever!
My Father loves me. He doesn’t condemn me; therefore,
I am not condemned. His best for me is that I walk
in healing and health, and I walk in His best!
