God is Willing to Heal

by Mark Brazee | Uncategorized

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” (1 John 5:14-15).

Physical healing is a great need in the body of Christ today. The greatest hindrance is not knowing that God is willing to heal. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

The marginal note in my Bible says that the word destroyed literally means “cut off.” So that Scripture could actually be rendered, “For a lack of knowledge people are cut off from the blessings of God.”

If we don’t know that God is willing to heal us, we are cut off from His blessings of healing and health. You see, faith must have a foundation. In order to confidently receive what Jesus purchased and provided for us, we must know it is our Father’s desire to give it to us.

God wants us to come boldly to the throne of grace to receive the healing we need (Heb. 4:16). That kind of boldness comes only from strong faith – a faith born of knowing the Father’s willingness to heal.

Confession:
I am confident that God is willing to heal me.
Therefore, I’m confident He hears me and
gives me the petition of healing I desire!
