God Wants You Blessed

by Keith Butler | Uncategorized

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God” (Deut. 28:2).

It is important for us to understand that this covenant is not just for Israel. As born again believers and the seed of Abraham, and of David, we get everything Jesus gets. After all, God has made us joint heirs with Christ and heirs according to the promise.

Therefore, God has set us high above all nations of the earth. That means we have a right to be more blessed than everybody else. Israel was a priest nation and the New Testament tells us today that we are kings and priest in God’s sight. Jesus has made us kings and priests by the shedding of His blood. And He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. As a result, believers are the high priest nation of God.

You and I have been made priests unto the Most High God and blessings shall come upon us and overtake us. Did you know that there are blessings chasing after you? As you go through this life, those blessing will catch up with you and mow you down.

Have you ever been run down by a blessing? I guarantee you that after a blessing runs you down, you will get back up and say hit me again.

God wants to bless you wherever you go, in the city and in the field, your coming in and your going out. Moreover, God wants you blessed in all things: your body, your bank account, your job, your business, and your land. He wants you abundantly prosperous.

I hear too many uninformed Christians talking about God wanting us poor. They believe the poorer we are the more spiritual we are. I never read that in the Bible. I still don’t know where they get that from. God expects His children to flow in prosperity.

Also, the Lord shall command the blessing upon you “…in thy storehouses.” Notice He didn’t say one storehouse – that means you will have more than one bank account. It’s about time to kick debt out and let prosperity in.

Just allow God to lead you. I guarantee you that whatever you set your hands to do, it will prosper because you are in covenant with God. The Lord has opened unto you His good treasure. Remember you are the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath. Know that God is looking to bless you all over the place.
