I am convinced that Christians are supposed to be invincible. We are supposed to remain untouchable by death, sickness, sniper attacks, biological threats, financial crises and so on. I know that this is a bold statement, but I believe it wholeheartedly.

I don't care what's going on in the world—wars, rumors of wars, terrorism, or whatever. As believers, we have nothing to fear. If we are going to call ourselves "believers," then we must believe! Believe what? That our lives are protected from everything that attempts to disturb our well-being.

That is the attitude of faith.

In these last of the last days, you must be mindful of where you direct your faith. Do you have more faith in your life being adversely affected by negative circumstances, or in God's ability to protect you from life's troubles?

Just because the world may be experiencing a recession does not mean that you have to be subject to that recession. Have faith that your financial status will get better even while the world's gets worse. During troubling times, always expect the light of God's goodness to shine on your life!

I encourage you to examine whether or not you are exercising your faith for good things to happen in your life. It won't do you any good to spend all of your time worrying about things not going well or worrying that you might die at the hands of terrorists.

Worrying is one of the quickest ways to leave yourself vulnerable to things that are designed to stress you out and destroy you, such as stock market crashes, layoffs, family crises and so on.

Taffi and I have made up our minds that, come hell or high water, we are not going to live in fear.

We have experienced all kinds of situations that were meant to take us out, but we're still standing! Cancer tried to kill us, but it didn't. The devil tried to snuff me out with a car accident and other near-death experiences, but I am still alive.

The spirit of depression tried to pressure us into quitting, but that didn't work either! Our lives are living testimonies of God's protection and goodness.

Public Enemy Number One
I know the devil is afraid of me. I don't mean that boastfully. I will, however, boast about the goodness of God—especially when I know it makes Satan mad. It brings me great pleasure to "slam the devil on his back" with testimonies of God's love and divine protection.

Satan can't touch me, because I'm surrounded by a "love shield!"

Although life has not been a piece of cake for Taffi and I, we know that our security is in God. No matter what we have gone through or will experience in the future, we are convinced that He will always protect us. It's a trust that has been developed over time—one that can't be damaged by the devil.

Whenever you set out to accomplish the will of God for your life, you become a prime target for the devil. Satan will try to do whatever it takes to stop you from fulfilling the will of God. That says something to me.

There must be something powerful about your fulfilling the will of God for your life for the devil to wage such an intense war against you. You become a dangerous threat to him. It's as if all of hell goes into "Code Red" mode once a Christian discovers the will of God for his or her life and begins to pursue it.

Don't think it's a strange thing when trouble appears as you pursue God's will. During these end times, news of trouble will increase—that's a guarantee! But don't worry. Your job is to see life through God's eyes.

When you do, you will realize that all of the horror that is happening around you is designed to make you fearful.

So don't buy into the fear campaign!
