Mountains are in the eyes of the beholder. Faith sees a mountain as a mole hill; fear sees a mole hill as a mountain.

"Do not be anxious about anything" (Phil. 4:6).

"Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:22-24).

A man came into a telegraph office to send a message to a remote area. After he left, a man sitting nearby said to the operator, "According to the news, there is a heavy snowstorm and blizzard up there - the roads are all blocked. I'm sure the message will not get through after you send it."

The operator replied, "I am only responsible for this end. There is someone at the other end who knows his business without my trying to carry his worries for him."

How many anxious moments do we have because we try to carry both ends of the line - our own and God's?
