Belief In Action
Believing is not just a "concept," it produces action. When we believe we speak, we obey, we do.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please God,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The Two Parts of Believing
The first part of believing is to simply believe that He is. But that alone will not get you anywhere.

James 2:19-20 You believe there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe — and tremble.
But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead.

The second part of believing involves action. It involves diligently seeking God. He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

God is a romantic, He loves to be chased!
Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. (James 4:6)

Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you. (Matt. 7:7-8)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to God’s will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us — whatever we ask — we know that we have what we ask of Him. (1 John 5:14-15 NIV)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it to you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name: ask and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:23-24 KJV)
What The Word Says
John 3:16(NLT)  “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 1:19-23 (NLT) I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power  that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV) And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,”[a]we also believe and therefore speak,

1 John 5:13 (NKJV) These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life,[a] and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

John 17:20-24 (NKJV)  I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[a] believe in Me through their word;  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

John 20:31 (NKJV) But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Romans 10:8-10 (NKJV) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”[a](that is, the word of faith which we preach):  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The Benefits Of Believing
  • Will have eternal life
  • We understand the incredible greatness of God’s Power for us
  • Jesus prays for us
  • We will be saved
Just as there are benefits for belief, there are consequences for unbelief, according to the Word. The people who didn't believe missed out on God's blessing.

Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. (Matt. 13:58 NKJV)
