I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.A little seed properly cared for will grow up and become a tree. If you get even a small amount of Satan's seed in your life and keep watering it, that seed will grow until it becomes a tree, affecting and influencing many people.
(Deut. 30:19)
God's Word, properly nurtured, watered, and acted upon, will also grow into a tree in your life with deep roots and lots of branches. It, too, will affect all kinds of people around you, but the influence will be one of blessing. This is how things in the kingdom work. It is all dependent, however, on what decision you make about which seed you plant and how you nurture it.
You have the freedom to choose Satan's way—death—if you want, or God's way—life. Choose life.
Prayer for Today
Father, you are the creator of life, the giver of life. I praise you for your care and nurturance and your promise of blessing. I choose life for me and my family. In Jesus' name, Amen.
