We've thought that the Holy Spirit was sent only to reveal truths of the Word of God, but the Holy Spirit will show you how to repair walls in your life that have been broken down by others.
Many of us have had our walls broken down by people who hurt and rejected us. It could be family, friends, or a spouse. The walls are broken down, and we want the person who broke the walls down to repair them for us.

If a city is attacked by the enemy and ravished on the inside, you don't expect the enemy to return to refurbish the city and rebuild the walls! It just doesn't happen. The person who hurt and injured you cannot repair your wall for you. It does not matter if he apologizes, repents, gets on his knees, and begs your forgiveness—you have to repair your own walls.

You may feel better about that person, but because of the rejection you experienced, you may begin to expect rejection from other people as well. Consequently, you will be open to the onslaught of the enemy.

You Have A Helper
You must repair your own walls after you've been attacked. You ask, "How can I do that?" It's your responsibility, but you have help. When Jesus left, He said, "I leave you a Comforter, a Counselor, an Intercessor, an Advocate, a Standby, One who will be with you, and teach you all things, and guide you into all truth."

We've thought that the Holy Spirit was sent only to reveal truths of the Word of God, but the Holy Spirit will show you how to repair walls in your life that have been broken down by others.

He will also help you repair those walls. The Holy Spirit does not take over and do the work for you. He is a helper.

Do you know what a carpenter's helper does? He helps. He doesn't do the carpentry; he helps. That is what the Holy Spirit does. He will come and show you exactly how you can repair the holes that are in your wall.

The Holy Spirit is by far the best Teacher when it comes to the emotional realm. He knows everything about us. Jesus sent Him to assist us in every area.

Being full of the Holy Spirit, Jesus is a perfect example of a man who refused to relinquish control of His emotions.

Somehow we've had the idea that Jesus walked the face of the earth only experiencing the emotions of love and compassion. But Jesus experienced the entire range of human emotions.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(Heb. 4:15)
Jesus experienced every human emotion that we have ever experienced—rejection, discouragement, the opportunity for depression and fear—yet He was not destroyed by His emotions. And you do not have to be destroyed by yours, either!

Jesus said,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.
(Luke 4:18)
You are anointed…don't ever forget that.
