I've come to know that we should never be afraid of expecting great things from the Lord. He is faithful! And He'll not be a debtor. He is able to provide more than enough to meet the need! We know that God is able to do more than we can ask or think according to the power at work in us!

First Corinthians 2:9 says, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." See, the religious world out there is worried about you expecting great things from the Lord. They think you are going to get in the flesh with it.

But God has more confidence in you than that! So, never be afraid of expecting too much from the Lord. He isn't afraid to give it. Why should you be afraid to take it?

God Can Follow Through, Now How About You?
God can follow through with prospering you. He can follow through with administering healing to your body. He can follow through with saving your lost loved ones. The question is: will you follow through with what God has told you to do in order to see all these things manifested in your life? The end of Ephesians 3:20 says that God will do what He's said "according to the power that works in us."

Essentially what it says is that God turns His vast resources to our account. It's up to us whether we will make a withdrawal or just stare at the numbers wishing we had what they stood for. Healing and prosperity are God's, but Jesus has deposited them into our account through His death and resurrection. Will we receive what He died to give us?

If we do, the Lord will keep on filling our account. When we start making withdrawals He'll heap more than we asked for into our hands. More healing, more prosperity, more peace! Sure, the religious world will squawk! They'll try to condemn you for living a life of peace, joy, prosperity, and health. They'll scowl, criticize and judge you. They don't want you to have "too much!" They'd prefer it if you were broke, sick, and full of worry, like them! Misery loves company, they say.

I've had some people get mad at me because it's been forever since I've been sick. The same ones get mad at me if I wear nice clothes or drive a nice car. And they get even more furious to see me smiling and happy, full of peace and joy, with a great marriage and a kid who is serving Jesus. Oh, it gets them mad to see me blessed with all that good stuff!

What they don't realize is that the same great stuff is available to them, too. It's sitting in their accounts right now waiting to be withdrawn! God gave Jesus a heaping helping of joy, peace, health, and prosperity for each believer on the earth. Jesus deposited too much in each one of our accounts. Now, if we want it, we've got to make a withdrawal.

God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think according to the power that works in us. Does it work? Yes! It works because it is God who gives us the power to make it work! What is that power? The Holy Ghost!

Language can't contain that power! Notice the difference between Peter's preaching before Pentecost, and his preaching after Pentecost. Before, maybe a few got saved. After 3,000 to 5,000 got saved! One sermon! What happened? He had too much! Too much of God!

Notice that before Pentecost he was afraid. After the Holy Spirit had come, an angel had to kick him awake to get him out of jail because they're planning to kill him the next day. How many of you would be sleeping?

The power spoken of in Acts 2 is what transformed the disciples from a bunch of easily swayed believers to a group of Holy Ghost powerhouses who rocked the nations! It changed their lives and, if you'll let it, it'll change you, too!
