Have you noticed that sometimes you are aware of certain things before you even know what the Word says about it? That's because the Holy Spirit is in you teaching you the truth (John 16:13).

You hear things come up in your spirit and they float up into your mind. "You need to do this. You need to do that." Sometimes you listen and other times you don't. You hear it and let it go. Then later it comes back and you hear it all again. These are the promptings of your spirit by the Holy Spirit.

As we become more aware of the Spirit of God in our everyday affairs, we will be quicker to hear and obey those promptings. This is God's desire for the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is revealing the will of God to us in our spirits.

I have been prompted by the Holy Spirit to spend more time in prayer and in fellowship with God. I have talked with people from all over the world who are hearing the same thing.

Believers everywhere who have determined to please God agree that He is calling the Body of Christ into more personal communion with Him. He is calling us to spend time in prayer and fellowship in His presence daily.

I get excited when I hear others repeat the same thing that God has told me. That is how we are going to come into the unity of faith. The Spirit of God speaks to believers all over the world. When you and I are in agreement with God, we will automatically be in agreement with each other.

A Detroit pastor told me, "God said my mornings belong to Him." That is what God had revealed to me. I realized that it was God's will for me to set aside at least an hour or two every day to spend time in His Word and in prayer. You probably realize that God has told you the same thing.

God will not chase us down and demand our attention. The Bible tells us to seek the Lord and we will find Him. James 4:8 says, "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."

God sent Jesus to the cross. Fellowship with God has been restored. The price as been paid. He has sent the Holy Spirit. It is up to us to take what He has done for us and in us and draw near to Him. We must seek Him.
