Almost 2,000 years ago something happened in an upper room that transformed the world: the Holy Spirit arrived. You can read all about it in the second chapter of Acts (Acts 2:2).

It Only Took Two Years!
What was so phenomenal about the Holy Spirit coming into the upper room? (Glad you asked.) It was the reacquainting of earth with God's purpose.

Just look at the time frame of what happened back then! In a matter of two stinking years (Can I say "stinking" on the Internet?), all of Asia heard the Gospel (Acts 19:10)!

Now compare that to the ministry of Jesus.

Jesus was only on this earth for 33 years. And only three and a half of those years were spent in ministry!

So what was it that the Holy Spirit could do that Jesus couldn't do?

To Glorify Him
The expansion of heaven on earth through the Holy Spirit sped up the process and man was reacquainted to the reason why God placed Him on the earth. To glorify God!

The more people that are saved, the more that glorify Him. And the more that glorify Him, His realm becomes adopted into their purpose and into their being.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
(Matt. 6:10)

Now look what has happened since then. We have slowed down the process of expanding heaven on earth. Why? Because we're not living in the spirit realm, we're living in the natural realm.

Have you heard the saying, "They are so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good"? Do you think that you want to be like that? (I don't think so.)
