"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered" (Rom. 8:26 KJV).

If you read Romans chapter 8, you will find yet another example of why you should know that it's God's will for you to be healed. You see, we need to understand that the Holy Spirit is still in the life-saving business. I'm going to say it again. The Holy Ghost is still in the life-saving business.

Remember what Jesus was anointed with in Acts 10:38? The Word explains how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, and how He went about doing good.

All of the healing that Jesus did was a result of being empowered with the Holy Ghost. If you're filled with the Holy Ghost then get both hands up. Thank the Lord that he filled you with the Holy Ghost and with power. Greater is He that's in me than he that's in the world.

We've become too casual about being filled with the Holy Ghost. I mean, we ought to recognize Who it is that's on the inside of us. It's God who is on the inside. And He's greater than the one on the outside.

"Yes, but the doctor said it's terminal; he said there's no cure." I'll say it again: greater is He on the inside of you than he who's on the outside. "Yeah, but they don't know what's wrong with me." Well, bless God, He's still greater than the one on the outside.

It's about time we start to act like it; it's about time we start to talk like it. It's about time we start to praise God like Romans 8:26 is true. And it's about time we start to see and experience victory because it's true.

It says in Romans that the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities. We may not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The literal Greek text says that the Holy Spirit takes hold together with us against our infirmity. Hallelujah. The Holy Ghost gets with us and helps us against that thing coming against you. That is, if you'll make use of Him.

He's there, but He's a gentleman. He won't force himself on you. He won't cause anything to happen unless you connect your faith with His power. Glory to God. But He's there. He helps against your infirmities. He's still in the life-saving business, but we need to apply our faith in order to hook up with His healing power.
