Does the devil know you're around? When a righteous man wakes up in the morning, an alarm bell goes off in hell. "He's up!" they shriek in fear.

"He knows who he is in Christ. He knows he's been made the righteousness of God. (Righteousness means right standing.) We're in trouble! Get the extra forces! We've had it!"

Have you ever noticed that a police officer gets out of his car with authority? I have never seen one slip out of a police car. They strut out. They know they've got authority.

You and I ought to know that we're in right standing with the Father. Every one of us should have a beacon light on the top of our head, like that flashing light that's on top of the police car.

It proclaims to the devil and his demons, "I know who I am in Christ Jesus, and I know my authority, buddy."
...And what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power....
(Eph. 1:18,19)
Let's look at that phrase "inheritance in the saints." I recently heard about a family that was about to be cheated out of their inheritance, and the unfairness of it made me very angry and upset.

Then God said to me, "Why don't you get that indignant when the devil comes and tells you that he's going to destroy you?"

I replied, "You're right."

We need to make sure the devil sees our righteous indignations. So go ahead and step out in authority because that's what you have!
