I recently spoke with someone I had met when I was a teenager. He didn't appear to be any smarter than anyone else when we were growing up.

We talked and prayed together about all kinds of things in those days, and he seemed to be an average guy. But now he's a millionaire who owns his own company!

When the anointing of God comes on your life, it doesn't matter if you feel qualified or not. If God is calling you to do something, then you can step out in faith and do it.

Things are not always as they appear to be.

When my radio ministry started a few years ago, I remember thinking, I can't go on radio! I don't know how to do that! What if the money doesn't come in?

It seemed as though the Holy Spirit was saying, "You'll never know until you try. What if it does come in?" So I decided to trust God.

I may have known nothing about radio, and I may have appeared to be unqualified to have a radio program—but God anointed my radio ministry, and now we're on radio stations around the country, and we're involved in other media programming.

Some people say, "I don't feel particularly called to serve in a certain area." If you give it to God and He anoints you, you cannot fail.

You may not be the brainiest person in the pew, but if you have the anointing of God, failure is not an option.

I'd rather listen to an anointed singer than someone with a highly trained voice but no anointing. How about you?
