God's Word has something to say about the issues we face daily. If we act on His Word and follow His plan regarding those issues, the end will result in multiple blessings.

We know that God has a plan for humankind and for you, specifically. Man was not arbitrarily created - God created man with a purpose in mind. God has an individual plan for our lives. If we choose to follow God's plan for our lives, blessings will come our way.

When the devil tricked Eve into eating from the tree, they died spiritually. In his actions, Adam chose the woman over God.

Spiritual death has a two-fold definition. It means to be separated from God and to receive Satan's nature. Remember, Eve was deceived. However, she is not without blame. Adam wasn't tricked - he knew all the time what was happening. He made a choice. He remembered what God said, then he looked at the woman. He remembered what God said, then he looked at the woman again, and he chose the woman instead of God.

And today, you still have people doing the same thing. People are more concerned about their fleshly needs and desires, and what some man or woman thinks about them than what God has to say about them.

Adam died spiritually because of his decision. So will you. God will have no other gods before Him - no man, no boy, no girl, no anything is supposed to go before the Lord God Himself. Adam and Eve disobeyed God's plan for their lives. That disobedience came with a price tag.

And unto Adam he said, "Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, 'Thou shalt not eat of it,' cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return" (Gen. 3:17-19).

If you recall, God gave the man a job before He gave the man a woman. But the man had an easy job initially. Adam could speak to the ground and it would yield to him. He had dominion over everything. But now, God told him it was going to be hard. In sorrow, Adam had to till the ground - work was going to be difficult. On top of that, man was sentenced to work all the days of his life.

God's plan for man was never to retire. I'm not saying that he has to perform super-strenuous work all the days of his life. But God never intended for man to retire and do nothing.

Note, the punishment to "work hard all the days of thy life" was given to the man, not the woman. I'm not saying it is wrong for a woman to work. But originally, she was not made to work hard. She wasn't made to spend 40, 50, 60 or 70 hours slaving at a job. Studies have shown the effects of such work hours upon women - their bodies are breaking down quicker.

In addition to experiencing sorrow in childbirth, God told woman "and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Rule means in the Hebrew to have power over. In other words, the husband has power over the wife. God intended for a woman to take care of her husband after he came home from a hard, sweaty day at work. Her other "job" was to raise a godly seed.

Both jobs are higher than any career outside the home in God's plan for man. I don't care what the "libbers" say. I'm talking about what the Bible says.

Once a person gets born again, making Jesus the Lord of his life, these original punishments are modified. For example, for women, "sorrow in childbirth" is greatly reduced if she "continues in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety" (1 Tim. 2:15). However, they are not completely removed because we're in flesh and blood bodies. Nevertheless, it's a good thing to be redeemed!

If you are not born again, God's plan for your life is to be saved. Salvation is available to you. To receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior is easy. All you have to do is recognize that you are a sinner; recognize that you are lost and dominated by the god of this world, Satan.

Pray this prayer with me: "Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I know I am lost. Come into my heart and save me now. I receive you as my Savior and Lord." If you prayed this prayer, you are born again. The god of this world doesn't have dominion over you anymore. You now have the name of Jesus. Your have the Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit. You are filled with the Holy Ghost. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

God's plan for humanity is to be out from under the boot of Satan. You can keep him under your foot. God's plan for man is fail-proof. If you choose to follow it, you'll be blessed.
