I'm very nervous about my current job situation. It seems that I could lose my job in the near future. What advice does the Bible give a person in my situation?

The Bible doesn't promise us a life free of trials. It's very possible that you could lose your job. Remember, no matter what happens to you God is still on the throne, waiting and willing to assist you.

Even if you lose your current job, God can find you another one. If it takes time for the next job to manifest, God will sustain you. I'm convinced that He'll see to it that you will not go hungry, lose your house, car, or suffer other losses.

Let me share two encouraging verses of Scripture with you:
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
(Ps. 37:25)

And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
(Phil. 4:19)
In both of these verses of Scripture God is promising His children that they will have all their needs met. The psalmist makes a powerful statement, "I lived a long time on the earth," he says, "during my whole lifetime I've never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread."

In other words, God always comes through for His children who trust in Him. God will meet all your needs no matter what happens to your job! It's so comforting to know that God is willing and waiting to come to our assistance no matter what the trouble.

Don't worry about your job. Take one day at a time, having an assurance that God will meet all your needs.
