Are there any sacrifices in the new covenant that the Christian should offer to God?

Notice what the Apostle Peter wrote:
You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.... But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
(1 Peter 2:5,9 NIV)
We aren't to offer animal sacrifices. However, there are sacrifices that we should offer. Let's note these types of sacrifices:
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise: the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
(Heb. 13:15-16 NIV)
We see three types of sacrifices mentioned in the above text. First, Christians need to have the sacrifice of praise upon their lips. We can offer the sacrifice of praise to God! God wants us to continually speak of His goodness and greatness. He desires us to have thanksgiving on our lips. This is a spiritual sacrifice.

Two others are mentioned: doing good and sharing with others in need. God looks at our good works, and giving to those in need as a sacrifice. If we make sure these three things are being done in our lives, then we will be offering the sacrifices that God wants Christians to offer up to Him.
