Is Every Person God's Child?

Is every person on earth a child of God?

According to the Bible, all the people of earth came forth from God's first creation - Adam. However, we can only become his children by an act of faith. Notice what the Bible says:

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: For ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Gal. 3:26-28 KJV)

The way we become children of God is by putting faith in Christ Jesus (Rom. 10:8-13). When men, women, or children put faith in the Lord Jesus, they become the children of God. Their spirit is actually born again or recreated (2 Cor. 5:17). Let me close this answer with this beautiful Scripture:

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
