I believe there will be Christians living on the earth when the Antichrist is revealed. I believe that they will be here as a result of having accepted Jesus as Savior after the church is raptured.
There will be powerful evangelism through the two witnesses and angels during the seven year tribulation period.
Notice what the Bible says regarding the time of the Antichrist: "And it was granted to him (Antichrist) to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation" (Rev. 13:7).
During this time, Christians who will be living on the earth will be put to death or heavily persecuted. I believe that those who are Christians now, or before the seven year tribulation period begins, will be raptured at its beginning.
There isn't enough space in this article to adequately expound this viewpoint, but I will share one of my favorite Scriptures. This Scripture declares that we won't go through the wrath of God, but we will be saved from it.
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape....
For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
