He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
(Rom. 8:32 KJV)

God didn't even hold back His own Son in His effort to save us. He gave everything He had for us. God didn't even spare His most valuable possession by storing it in a safe place as we do with our valuables. He handed Jesus over to death for all of us. What an act of ultimate love that was.

The Message Bible says: If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?

If God did all of this because He loves us, then won't He also freely give us everything else? All things, that's a lot of promise and a lot of potential for us. We don't have to fear that God is holding out on us. We are now ready and able to live a life differently than we did before. When God gave Jesus, He showed us the definitive example for us to follow.

Today's Thought to Take With You:
God gave His all, His Son Jesus, for me. I will give my all for Him today.
