Redemption means to ransom in full. It is a riddance of sin. By the free gift of God's grace, each one of us is put right with God through Jesus Christ.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
(Rom. 3:24 KJV)

Redemption means to ransom in full. It is a riddance of sin. By the free gift of God's grace, each one of us is put right with God through Jesus Christ. He freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins. He sets us free through the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus.

The Message Bible says: God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with Him. It is a pure gift. He got us out of the mess we were in and restored us to where He always wanted us to be. And He did it by means of Jesus Christ.

We are just as if we had never sinned in the sight of God through His divine influence which He puts upon our heart. Another way to say it is that God treats us much better than we deserve, because of Jesus.

Today's Thought to Take With You:
I have redemption through Jesus Christ. That means I am rid of the old sin and will not be condemned by it anymore.
