"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord" (Luke 4:18-19).

You and I as believers have a responsibility to take the reality of God's power to those who are in need. All the anointing and power we will ever need to produce a mighty revival throughout this earth is available to the Body of Christ right now. I believe we are standing on the brink of a great move of God and a mighty outpouring of His Spirit.

I was just a child when the great healing revivals began in the 1940s. Those revivals didn't come because people just sat around, saying, "Revival is coming! Revival is coming!" No, those revivals came because men and women of God set their faces like flint toward the Lord and sought Him with all of their hearts.

God's glory is revealed when men and women seek God's glory and prepare themselves before Him to be channels of His glory to bless mankind. And as my dad, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, has said many times, preparation time is never wasted time.

I remember as a child how Dad would spend hours on end in prayer, seeking God because he sensed there was something more to come in the move of God upon the earth. Dad never prayed for the Lord to use him or to put him at the forefront of the next wave of revival. But he did pray, "Lord, make me a blessing wherever I go." Dad hungered with all of his being for the glory of God to be revealed and the plan of God to be consummated on the earth.

Many in the Body of Christ have the mistaken idea that God has only chosen certain ministers to seek His face and to be vessels of His glory and power in the earth today. But God is beckoning all believers everywhere to draw near to Him and become men and women of destiny in this hour, fulfilling God's plan in the earth.

So don't leave "seeking God" for someone else to do. The Bible says, "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former..." (Hag. 2:9). Great men and women of God from yesteryear have lived and died, having blazed a trail before us. They tasted some of the glory which is yet to be revealed to us, and they were faithful to pass on the vision - the torch of revival which burned so deeply in their hearts.

Who will dare to pay the price to take the reality of God's power and glory to those in need? Revival comes when there is revival in men's and women's hearts. So let us run the race and finish the course that God has set before us. We need to diligently seek God's face, keeping the torch lit and the flame of revival burning brightly in our hearts.

And we need to direct man's eyes to Jesus, not to a minister or a manifestation. It's as we lift up and exalt Jesus that men will be drawn unto Him (John 12:32). And the Spirit of the Lord will be upon the Body of Christ like never before to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and set the captives free - and God's glory will be revealed in all the earth!
