"Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all" (1 Tim. 4:15 KJV).

When you live a godly life, people will be able to see God's blessing on your life. They'll see that everything you set your hands to prospers. Your profiting will appear to everybody in due time, when you live holy before God.

As a result of your holy living, God expects a profit too. First Corinthians 6:19 says, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" (KJV).

You are not your own. You belong to God if you're saved. That means you don't decide what is best for you. You have to get permission from the One who owns you. The One who owns you is the One who redeemed you. He redeemed you with His shed blood.

You are bought with a price. That means you don't do anything without checking with God first. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path. He will direct you in godly relationships, success on the job or in your business, and health in your body. And everyone around you will see it. Then you can point them to the One who made it all possible - Jesus, your Lord and Master.

God expects you to do what He says. Yield to what God said instead of what you feel. Submit yourself unto your husband and unto your wife. Do what the Bible says about your body and live holy before God. Do what the Bible says about your money and live holy before God. Do what the Bible says about the people you encounter daily.

Realize that you are are bought with the blood of Jesus. Therefore, glorify God in your daily life. Doing what the world does doesn't make you cool. Worldly living is unprofitable. It will cost you more than you could imagine.

On the contrary, godliness is profitable unto all. And it produces a long and prosperous life. You will notice as God prospers you, then you can give God the ultimate glory by leading others to Christ.
