There is nothing more powerful than the shed blood of Jesus. It speaks of mercy, grace and the fulness of redemption.
Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.
(Josh. 2:18 KJV)
The scarlet thread of this verse in Joshua is a type of the Covenant blood of the Lamb for a House who is, as we now know, Jesus Christ.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
(Ex. 12:13 KJV)
There is nothing more powerful than the shed blood of Jesus. It speaks of mercy, grace and the fulness of redemption. Both the blood on the door posts and lintels of the Hebrew houses and the scarlet thread of Rahab's house in the wall speak of a covenant promise to the whole family.
And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
(Ex. 12:22 KJV)
All who remained inside the houses were spared by the Lord. Beloved, God wants your whole house saved.

Consider the house of Cornelius spoken of in Acts Chapter Ten. The whole household was saved, filled with the Spirit and water baptized. Another example would be the keeper of the prison in Acts, Chapter 16. We read in verse 34 that he, ". . . rejoiced, believing in God with all his house."

Just as the Hebrew spy's promised Rahab that her house would be saved, so God has promised that your household shall be saved.
The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
(Ps. 115:14 KJV)
