Autumn is upon us and it seems like everyone is hurrying to get all their vacationing, home improvement projects and outdoor activities in before the cold weather returns. In the midst of the rush make sure you take some time to listen to the Father because He is giving instructions to His people concerning the changes that are ahead for you, your kids, your country and more!

When God gives you direction some of the challenges are:
† interpreting it correctly
† focusing on it in prayer
† having the confidence needed to take it forward.

It doesn’t matter if it is a little or big direction, it requires attention and effort to take it on with confidence!

Both of our sons started playing instruments in front of other people when they were in Junior High. They both exhibited real courage in stepping out while feeling like they didn’t know what they were doing.

Ryan played drums when he was in sixth grade for the children’s meetings in Australia. Jesse was in a college band when he was only 15, so they had to come and pick him up. By the time they were both college age, they could get up and lead worship and really release the presence of God because they spent all of high school watching God move when they played. They are both anointed to lead worship & it is amazing how the power of God falls because they confidently help others experience God in a deeper way.

Then you will have deeper insight! You will know the confidence that he calls you to have & the glorious wealth that God’s people will inherit. (Eph. 1:18)

Young David was delivering food to his brothers when He saw Goliath threaten the troops with His big challenge. David wasn’t looking for a new job, or a fight, or a position in the military, He was just obeying his dad and helping his family.

But something clicked in him when he saw this giant terrorist, and David knew when He had to do. When King Saul told him he couldn't do it because he was just a boy, David had confidence that He could because of his experience with God helping him kill lions and bears in the field.

These testimonies were in his arsenal, reserved for the occasion, and ready for the challenge. Courage is stepping out into the unknown, but confidence is knowing and going. David even told Goliath what He was going to do with him!

That’s confidence!

Confidence is established in your heart when you know by experience that God will do what He said He would because He did it before! Meditate on all His goodness and remember everything He has already done! This will give you the Boldness to CRASH THROUGH whatever is standing in your way!

Create your CONFIDENCE CHECKLIST:
1. Has God ever met my need?
2. Has God ever delivered me?
3. Has God ever turned my situation around?
4. Had God ever given me favor when I needed it?
5. Has God ever cause me to succeed?

This is your arsenal. Whatever you face, if God has done it for you, for someone you know, or even a character in the Bible thousands of years ago —then HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!
