We are living in the Church Age and what a wonderful time to be alive on the earth. The most distinctive thing about these days we’re living in is God’s grace.

The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). When Jesus came the old went out and the new came in.

We are no longer under the law, but under God’s grace, and His grace actually teaches us according to Titus 2.
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.
(Titus 2:11-12)
These two power packed verses are loaded with truth:
  • All men have access to God’s grace.
  • Grace doesn’t condemn, but it does save.
  • Grace is for this present age and all the challenges that this age has.
  • Grace accepts us the way we are, but also teaches us and empowers us to change.
  • Grace empowers us to say “no” to things that are wrong.

None of the things that grace empowers us to do can be done in our own strength. Grace is supernatural knowledge and power to live and conduct ourselves in a Christ-honouring manner.

May each of us learn not to rely on our own strength but instead learn to use God’s amazing grace on a daily basis.
